Indian Wells and Miami

Hi All,

A quick mid-tournament update from Miami.  I was lazy in Indian Wells, and never got around to updating our blog page.  I guess part of the reason was the good weather in Indian Wells.  Instead of writing up a blog entry during some free afternoon, I usually ended up throwing the frisbee around.  Indian Wells has a nice lawn in the players' area, and we take advantage of it by getting out the frisbee.  Nate and I are pretty accomplished frisbee throwers, and Glynn is getting better each time.  His first time with us wasn't pretty, but now he's looking pretty good out there.

Indian Wells went well, although nothing too interesting to tell you about apart from Nate doing a Tennis Warehouse video.  If you haven't seen it yet, go check it out.  He talks about our setup there, and also some of the stringing specs for the guys we work with.  Indian Wells usually has really nice weather, and this year was no different.  Each day was about 80 degrees and sunny.  Unfortunately, the last day was unbelievably windy, and the quality of tennis wasn't all that great.

Since I'm blogging from Miami this afternoon, you can probably guess the weather here today.  Its been cloudy, and raining on and off all day.  Just the perfect day to sit in our condo, and follow Tiger Woods at Bay Hill.  As much as we love tennis, and always follow the scores, we sometimes need a bit of a break.  Thankfully, we have both Tiger and the NCAA basketball tournament to keep us entertained.  That being said, Roger won his match against Kiefer today, and Gael and Marat are battling in a 3rd set as I type this.

The tournament here is going well, and once we get to the middle of an event, everything runs very smoothly.  In fact, by this time, we are already planning for our next event in Monte Carlo.  The planning really never ends, and its this early planning that makes our lives much easier on the road.

Well, back to watching Tiger do some chasing in his final round at Bay Hill...
